PERFORMANCE OF CLASSIC UPDATES 2008 - 2009

Forecasting the individual day is a new and unique feature among financial astrologers for measuring the Rosecast.com performance.
Already in 2008 many individual days have been forecasted correctly and in 2009 I have made a successful attempt to forecast all indiviudal days. However from a practical/trading point of view it is most critical to forecast at least a week in advance and this kind of forecasting will be achieved in 2010 through the Timer Digest signals. Those are Buy and Sell signals for the stock market and Gold and Bonds that are not only given to subscribers, but additionally tracked by Timer Digest.

Below find the Individual Day forecasts that forecast
the S&P 500 Index from close to close. Since July 1, 2009 there has been given more emphasis on these types of forecasts at Rosecast.com. The performance results for the period of April 2009 to June 2009 have been based on all preliminary forecasts given.
A forecast for any given day was already posted at or before 9h30 am on the previous day.
All these forecasts were given in the regular update that is stored in the Rosecast Archives for your verification.

Attention: Some forecasts after July 23, 2009 are conditional: i.e. if day X closes down, day X+1 is forecasted UP, if day X closes up, day X+1 is forecasted down. By using conditional forecasts it is possible to forecast day X+1 without knowing how day X closes. For some days financial astrology makes it possible to forecast a day many months in advance as up or down. For other days a trend change from one day to the next day is easier to forecast with financial astrology - and for these days the conditional forecast is used.
In the table below S&P 500 results are always rounded to one decimal after the comma in table below.

The page below displays how accurate the Rosecast Daily updates (released typically before 7 am ET in the morning) are forecasting the exact high and low prices prices of the trading day. The forecasted price is typically less than 1 point in the S&P E-MINI FUTURES away from the actual price.

Just compare column 4 (Rosecast forecasted prices)
with column 5 (actual prices) in the table below!

Often the first forecasted high or low price of the day is within a few ticks/points from the actual daily low and high. This can clearly not happen by chance!
I.e. on February 07, 2008 the first forecasted low price was 1312.50 and the actual low was 1312.75!
On Janaury 25, 2008 the second forecasted low price was 1328.50 and the actual low was 1328.25!

TABLE EXPLANATIONS

Columns 1,2,3 and 5 are taken from past data.
Column 4 is the forecast!
Often the direction of the day (column 3) is indicated in the newsletter and can be anticipated from the forecast of the range (column 4).

The reason why I do not give an indication for the day has to do with reversal days. It is much more useful for a trader to have a forecast of an high and a low than a forecast for the direction of the day on a reversal day. Rosecast is however most of the time very clear on the indication of the trend for the upcoming day. Otherwise the forecasted levels in column 4 could not be as exact as they are.

COLOR BLUE = DAILY HIGH, forecasted high level
COLOR RED = DAILY LOW, forecasted low level

(1) or (1): First Forecasted Price by Rosecast. This is the most important forecasted price level/price target  by Rosecast.
(2) or (2): Second Forecasted Price by Rosecast. This is the second important forecasted price level/price target  by Rosecast.
(3) or (3):  Third Forecasted Price by Rosecast.  This is the third most important forecasted price level/price target  by Rosecast.
(P) or (P): new as of May 2007: Pivot Level: Every day Rosecast forecasts a pivot price - based on financial astrology as opposed to the floor trader formula.

ALL DAILY UPDATES ARE ARCHIVED IN SUBSCRIBER AREA SINCE 2003

INDIVIDUAL DAY FORECASTS: The S&P 500 Index is forecasted from close to close.
Forecasts are always posted one day BEFORE the event, i.e. a forecast for July 24, is already posted on the morning of July 23.

FORECAST = ROSECAST.COM

DECEMBER 30, 2008

While the "old" forecasting system with daily high and low prices continues, as of June 2008 I am also directing my forecasts and research to forecasting the direction of the individual trading days.

Therefore I will pause the "performance" of daily high and low prices, yet the Rosecast forecasts of daily highs and lows that have started more than three years ago and are a characteristic of this service continue as usual.

The most important feature of Rosecast next to price levels and CR (Make or Break) levels are forecasts of intraday-times. You will find more about it on this page shortly. On November 13, 2008 a strong rally has been forecasted in the afternoon, two exact entries for the forecasted afternoon rally have been stated long before the opening. Similar intraday- forecasts are achieved on a regular basis by using proprietary astrology software for intraday-analysis.
